About the Neighborhood

The proximity to everything you care about is unbeatable.

You’re close enough, yet far enough from all the things you want to do. For example, you’re close enough to the beach to walk to it, but you’re far enough away that you don’t have to worry about all the traffic and the bustle.

For a family, you’ve got a great place to relax once you get back from the beach

You also get four bikes that you can use to get around the city so the 18-20 minute walk to the beach is more like a 5 to 8-minute bike ride.

If you are a hybrid commuter or teleworker this is an unbeatable location because you’re right across the street from a New York City train, and it will also take you to the airport.

Whether you’re down here to see the Boss Bruce Springsteen or a concert at The Stone Pony or one of the many music venues in Asbury Park, or you are just here to do some shopping, dining & relaxing, there’s just so much to do and you’re in walking distance to all the new stuff that has been built in Asbury Park

4-min walk to the NYC train
6-min walk to Comstock shopping and bars
20-minute walk to the south end of the beach

And when you’re at home you’re in an absolutely gorgeous backyard to relax in with three distinct areas so that you have plenty of privacy as well as plenty of social interaction

First, is the fire pit that can seat six

Second, under is the entertainment room under a 13×10 gazebo. that can also see six to eight people

Finally, the back porch deck is covered with a roof and has a dining table, sofa, and chairs. The deck has a Weber BBQ grill with a separate gas burner, allowing you to do all your cooking on the deck if you so desire.

About the host

I’m a beach bum at heart growing up in Hawaii as an Air Force brat, then going to Rutgers and teaching scuba at the jersey shore. I’m also a new resident of Asbury Park and I promise you will have the best time of your life when you visit. Asbury Park is one of the best beaches on the east coast for fun, food, and music. I am also a yoga teacher and attempted to instill a sense of vibe in the atmosphere of the home, it’s my hope you will find it very cozy relaxing, and blissful. Andrew
